Job summary

DEPCOM Power, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Construction Manager to support field execution on utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.

You will partner with Construction Managers and project teams to drive safe, high-quality delivery, coordinate civil, mechanical, and electrical activities, and help develop field leadership capabilities. This full-time, site-based role includes daily per diem and rotation travel; potential locations include East Dublin, GA.

Qualifications

• Construction experience on large-scale industrial, infrastructure, renewable energy, or utility construction projects.
• Experience coordinating work with superintendents, subcontractors, or multiple construction disciplines while supporting safety, schedule, quality, and cost objectives.
• Experience reviewing project schedules, budgets, contracts, change orders, or construction documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Construction Manager to support field execution across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes for complex utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.
• Assist in developing and coaching Superintendent teams by reinforcing expectations and accountability for results.
• Support coordination with Safety, Quality, Environmental, Logistics, and Project Management teams to align on priorities and plans.
• Monitor project performance related to safety, schedule, quality, cost, and environmental compliance through proactive planning.
• Participate in weekly risk assessments and maintain the Risk & Opportunity log to mitigate risks.
• Support environmental compliance activities including SWPPP and permitting requirements.
• Assist in managing subcontractor performance and cost-tracking.
• Review subcontractor change orders and invoices with project leadership to validate scope and costs.
• Contribute to three-week look-ahead schedules and identify constructability/logistics challenges.
• Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and stakeholders through proactive communication.
