Job summary

DEPCOM Power is seeking a Construction Manager to lead end-to-end field execution across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines on utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. This site-based role is located in El Paso, TX, with site rotations and close collaboration with Safety, Quality, and Logistics teams, and subcontractors.

The role focuses on building high-performing Superintendent teams, managing change orders and invoicing, risk management, and ensuring safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing large-scale industrial or renewable energy field projects.
• Proven track record managing multiple subcontractors and superintendents.
• Strong ability to review change orders and approve invoices.
• Solid scheduling, budgeting, and look-ahead planning skills.
• Knowledge of safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance on active sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-scope field execution across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines on solar and energy storage projects.
• Partner with Safety, Quality, and Logistics teams to align field execution and resolve issues.
• Build and retain high-performing Superintendent teams through clear expectations and coaching.
• Own project performance—safety, schedule, quality, cost, and environmental compliance.
• Conduct weekly site risk assessments and maintain R&O log with project teams.
• Lead environmental compliance including SWPPP, permits, and erosion control.
• Drive subcontractor performance by enforcing scope clarity and production expectations.
• Review Change Orders for contract basis, pricing, and invoice approval.
• Anticipate and resolve constructability, logistics, and coordination challenges.
• Maintain owner confidence through transparent communication and reliable delivery.
