Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Cooling System Design Engineer to drive the design and delivery of cooling infrastructure for hyperscale and enterprise data center projects. You will develop efficient, reliable thermal management solutions and work with multidisciplinary teams to meet performance and energy targets.

The role requires collaboration across vendors and project stakeholders, with a focus on scalability, sustainability, and operational readiness throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in HVAC, mission-critical facilities, or data center infrastructure design.
• 1+ years performing HVAC load calculations and system sizing.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for data center cooling systems.
• Perform cooling load calculations and thermal analyses for white space and critical areas.
• Evaluate emerging cooling technologies and ensure codes and best practices compliance.
• Provide engineering support during procurement, construction, and commissioning.
