Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Cooling System Design Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of cooling infrastructure for hyperscale data center projects. You will design efficient and sustainable thermal management solutions that meet performance and energy targets.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to perform load calculations, system sizing, and evaluations of direct-to-chip and immersion cooling options, ensuring compliance with codes and industry best

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in HVAC, mission-critical facilities, or data center design.
Experience with HVAC load calculations and system sizing.

Responsibilities

Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed cooling system designs for data centers.
Perform load calculations and sizing for chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, and heat exchangers.
Evaluate cooling technologies (DX, liquid cooling, immersion) and energy efficiency options.
Collaborate with electrical, controls, and commissioning teams throughout project lifecycle.
Prepare documentation, calculations, and design specifications to standards.
