Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Cooling System Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of cooling infrastructure for hyperscale and enterprise data center projects.

The role focuses on efficient, reliable, and sustainable thermal management solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and project stakeholders to meet performance and energy targets throughout the lifecycle.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, mission-critical facilities, or data center infrastructure design.
• 1+ years of experience performing HVAC load calculations and system sizing.

Responsabilidades

• Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for data center cooling systems (≤140 chars).
• Design and optimize chilled water, DX, liquid cooling, air-side and water-side economization systems.
• Perform cooling load calculations and thermal analyses for white space, support spaces, and critical areas.
• Develop HVAC system layouts, piping schematics, flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Evaluate emerging cooling technologies, including direct-to-chip and immersion cooling solutions.
