Job summary

CoVolt Power seeks an Associate Project Manager to support the Project Manager on construction projects in Texas, 100% site-based with home rotations. You will assist with procurement, scheduling, submittals, RFIs, and closeout while developing leadership capabilities.

You'll work closely with Owners, Field Construction Staff, Preconstruction, Procurement, Scheduling, Quality and Safety to deliver value for clients and progress toward a Project Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related field.
• 2–4 years of construction management or general contracting experience.
• Willingness to relocate or travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager on large, complex projects with procurement, subcontract mgmt, scheduling, submittals, RFIs, permitting, and closeout.
• Partner with the PM to prioritize safety, quality, and clear communications throughout the project.
• Represent the company with clients, subcontractors, and partners on scope, schedule and budget issues.
• Collaborate with Construction Managers to gain field experience including scheduling, safety, quality, and on-site problem solving.
• Provide timely updates on project status, resources, budgets, and forecasts to leadership and stakeholders.
• Under supervision, manage small-scale projects or components of larger ones, stepping into PM responsibilities when appropriate.
