Job summary

CoVolt Power in Texas seeks an Associate Project Manager to support Project Manager and the project team on construction projects. This developmental role focuses on decision-making, planning, and execution, aligning activities to create value and progress toward a Project Manager role.

Working 100% on site with home rotations, you will collaborate with Owners, field staff, procurement, scheduling, quality, and safety to deliver successful projects and grow your leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 2–4 years of construction management or general contracting experience.
• OSHA 10 Hour and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager on large projects by managing procurement, subcontract management, scheduling, submittals, RFIs, permitting, and closeout.
• Partner with the Project Manager to prioritize safety, quality, and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Represent the company with clients, subcontractors, and partners to address scope, schedule, and budget issues.
• Collaborate with Construction Managers to gain field experience, including safety, scheduling, and on-site problem-solving.
• Provide timely updates on status, resources, budgets, and forecasts to leadership and stakeholders.
• Under supervision, manage small projects or components of larger projects and prepare for leadership roles.
