Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Project Manager to support our project teams on site in Texas with home rotations. The role partners with Owners, field staff, preconstruction, procurement, scheduling, quality and safety to deliver projects on time and on budget.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, 2–4 years of field experience, and proficiency with Viewpoint, Procore, MS Project and MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in construction management or general contracting.
  • Experience coordinating with owners, field staff, and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency with project management tools: Viewpoint, Procore, MS Project, MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager on large, complex projects with procurement, subcontract management, scheduling, submittals, RFIs, permitting, and closeout.
  • Partner with the Project Manager to prioritize safety, quality and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Represent the company in interactions with clients, subcontractors, and partners regarding scope, schedule and budget.
  • Collaborate with Construction Managers to gain field experience, manage schedules, safety, and on-site problem-solving.
  • Provide timely updates on project status, resources, budgets, and forecasts to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Under supervision, manage small projects or components of larger projects, stepping up as needed.
