Job summary

Northwest Missouri State University is seeking a Business Analyst – SIS to collaborate with the Enterprise Applications Team and campus offices to optimize Workday Student and related student-facing enterprise apps across the university.

The role requires strong analytical skills, Workday experience, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives while coordinating with Enrollment Management, Registrar, Financial Aid, and Academic Advising to enhance the student lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Experience in business process analysis and hands-on work with Workday Student or similar student information systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between academic/administrative departments and the Enterprise Applications team, guiding process improvements with Workday Student modules.
• Act as SME for Workday Student modules; identify needs, configure solutions, and optimize workflows across the student lifecycle.
• Provide functional/technical support for Workday Student and related integrations with Workday Financials/HCM where applicable.
• Identify inefficiencies, document workflows, and propose configuration or automation improvements.
• Lead or assist in Workday Student releases, develop test scripts, and train users campus-wide.
• Coordinate UAT, document results, and follow up with Workday support or stakeholders.
