Job summary

University of Washington seeks four Program Operations Analysts to join the Academic Strategy and Affairs Information Services, within the Student Systems Transformation project. You will help discover and document business needs, gather requirements, and ensure SIS alignment with user and business needs while coordinating across campus partners.

The role is hybrid on-site/remote, with eligibility for up to 100% remote telework, reporting to the ASA-IS Director.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
2 years' professional experience in business systems analysis.
Experience gathering requirements with end users, translating these requirements into specifications, and implementing them in the chosen solution.
Experience managing or coordinating projects or programs or other equivalent experience.
Experience managing and communicating with internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and diplomacy.
Implementing student data systems at large educational institutions.
Supporting ongoing development of an implemented product.
Familiarity with the basic internal workings of a large research university.
Experience with project management and team tracking technology, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and workflow mapping tools.

Responsibilities

Business Analysis (70%): document business needs, assess options, develop requirements, and support decision making.
Communication and Project Coordination (30%): develop project plans, track progress, and prepare reports.
