Texas State Technical College is seeking a Workday Systems Analyst, IT to administer and optimize Workday across HCM, Payroll, Finance and Student modules. You will partner with IT and various departments to ensure platform stability, data integrity, and compliant governance.

The role emphasizes security architecture, system changes, testing, and enterprise-wide configuration with an emphasis on FERPA and Title IV compliance within a higher education environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4–6 years Workday systems administration experience across HCM, Payroll, Finance and/or Student.
• Advanced Workday configuration, reporting, testing, and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday across HCM, Finance, Payroll and Student modules.
• Configure security governance including role-based permissions and access controls; perform regular audits.
• Coordinate with SMEs for tenant release cycles and bi-annual upgrades; validate impact and perform testing.
• Develop and maintain test plans to verify logic, security configurations, and data integrity.
• Provide technical support across HR, Finance, Operations, Academic Affairs, and Student Services.
