Job summary

Excel Academy Charter Schools is seeking a highly organized Manager of Student Information Systems & State Reporting. You will own PowerSchool, DeansList, Clever, and related integrations across MA and RI, ensuring accurate data and compliant reporting.

You’ll lead system projects, coordinate with school Operations, Technology, and leadership, and travel between campuses to support implementations and trainings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in K–12 education, student information systems, or data management.
• Significant experience with a student information system such as PowerSchool.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to diagnose complex problems and drive solutions.
• Excellent project-management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel between campuses in MA and RI (travel reimbursed).

Responsibilities

• Own the management and administration of PowerSchool, DeansList, Clever, SWIPE, and related SIS.
• Configure, maintain, and update enrollment, scheduling, attendance, and reporting rules.
• Translate school needs into clear system requirements and action plans.
• Lead SIS-related projects, vendor coordination, and change management.
• Ensure accurate data flows and timely state/federal reporting submissions.
• Create SOPs and train Operations staff on SIS processes and reporting.
