Job summary

Quincy Public Schools seeks a Senior Data Analyst to support the Student Information System and data reporting across all district levels. You will collaborate with IT and school staff to ensure data accuracy and timely federal, state, and local submissions.

The role includes building and troubleshooting reports, coordinating data backups, and assisting with scheduling and calendar development. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree plus 5 years’ experience in information reporting.
• Advanced MS Office including macros, formulas, data queries, mail merge.
• Experience with iReport/JasperReports and/or Crystal Reports using Aspen/SQL data sources.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to read/write Java and XML to understand or modify reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely submission of all reporting requirements (SIMS, EPIMS, SCS, SSDR, CRDC).
• Develop and maintain grade/information calendars and publish interim reports and report cards.
• Provide technical assistance and act as a resource for school personnel on SBM systems.
• Support scheduling for high, middle, and elementary levels and assist with data-related issues.
• Coordinate data backups, year-end rollover, and system maintenance with IT staff.
• Assist with district communications and open houses as needed.
• Maintain data quality and generate usable rosters for the Aspen Gradebook.
