Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Data Systems Administrator to oversee the district's Student Information System (SIS) and related data tools. You will manage data collection, reporting, and integrity, ensure privacy compliance, and coordinate security with the City IT department.

Responsibilities include state/federal reporting transmission, maintenance of ASPEN SIS integrations, and staff training. The role requires strong SQL, Excel, data extraction/integration skills and experience with multiple data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS).
• Familiarity with MA DESE Security Portal / reporting requirements.
• Data extraction, reporting and integration experience.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Advanced SQL knowledge; Excel proficiency.
• XML/Java knowledge or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the District's SIS Administrator and point of contact for data systems.
• Manage data collection, maintenance and reporting with accuracy and integrity.
• Ensure data privacy and protect PII.
• Coordinate data system security with City IT department.
• Transmit data for state and federal reporting (SIMS, EPIMS, SCS, SSDR, CRDC).
• Maintain and expand ASPEN SIS and related integrations.
• Write custom queries, reports, and data exports as needed.
• Train staff and document processes for data services.
• Support data rollover for new school year and building reporting needs.
• Troubleshoot logins/passwords and coordinate data imports/exports.
