Job summary

Oklahoma City Public Schools seeks an SIS Administrator to lead daily SIS operations, configuration, and improvement. This role serves as the primary technical and functional steward of SIS and is designed to develop future leadership capacity.

Working with the Director of SISOpSS, the role emphasizes data integrity, system reliability, and compliance with district, state, and federal reporting requirements, while building sustainable SIS processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming in enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of school business processes and student information management.
• Experience with SQL, data management, and data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the daily operation, configuration, and maintenance of the District's SIS
• Assist in annual SIS setup processes, including calendars, scheduling structures, grading configurations, and system readiness
• Support integration and data exchange between SIS and connected systems
• Monitor system usage and data quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system improvements
• Identify and implement process improvements
