Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking IDD SIS Assessors for Virginia locations in Manassas, Gainesville, and Haymarket. The role requires hybrid work with occasional travel, and training through AAIDD. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with IDD populations are preferred.

The position emphasizes professional assessments, strong communication with clients and teams, and dedication to confidentiality of PHI. Compensation ranges reflect market standards for the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human service-related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Sociology.
• At least one year’s experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Experience conducting individual assessments with knowledge of behavior rating or psychological testing principles.
• Knowledge of person-centeredness and Virginia waiver programs strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate purpose and reason for assessment to individual and respondents.
• Foster positive and professional relationships and act as liaison with internal and external customers.
• Conduct assessments timely and in a professional manner.
• Consistency in completing and documenting assessment information.
• Represent PCG and the client professionally.
