Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking a SIS Assessors in Stafford, Virginia to conduct SIS-A assessments for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role requires AAIDD training completion and participation in the IRQR process, with hybrid work and potential overnight travel within the state.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in a human service field, minimum one year of relevant experience, and strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field.
• At least one year experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Experience conducting individual assessments with knowledge of behavior rating or psychological testing principles.
• Knowledge of person-centeredness.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate purpose and reason for assessment to individual and other respondents.
• Fosters positive and professional relationships and acts as liaison with internal and external customers.
• Conduct assessments timely and in a professional manner.
• Document assessment information consistently and accurately.
• Represent PCG and the client in a professional manner.
