Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Production Planning and Scheduling Manager for an onsite role in Riverside, CA. You will own the master production schedule, lead the SIOP process, and partner with Sales, Engineering, Materials, and Finance to maintain a single integrated plan.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in planning with ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle/Epicor, and can translate schedules into executable field plans while managing capacity and constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 6+ years in production planning, scheduling or master scheduling with capacity planning.
• Experience in automotive or aerospace industries preferred.
• Strong ERP/data discipline with planning master data and scheduling logic.

Responsibilities

• Own the master production schedule and align demand, capacity, and material availability.
• Lead the SIOP process, including scenario recommendations and approvals.
• Partner cross-functionally to maintain a single integrated plan.
• Develop ramp scenarios and capacity forecasts for production.
• Establish change-control rules and readiness signoffs for materials.
• Translate master schedule into work-center and station plans.
• Ensure ERP data standards and BOM/lead-time validation.
• Support Epicor implementation and ongoing improvements.
