Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Master Scheduler to own and maintain the master production schedule at our Milwaukee plant. You will balance demand, inventory, material availability, and capacity to maximize plant efficiency while coordinating with sales, purchasing, and production teams.

The role requires strong Excel and ERP experience, preferably with Plex. You will lead scheduling meetings, monitor bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead times and improve delivery

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification strongly preferred.
• Metals experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage master production schedules in a manufacturing environment.
• Apply RCCP, finite and infinite scheduling, TOC, and DD-MRP concepts.
• Monitor inventory levels and production requirements.
• Evaluate material requirements and support purchasing and planning.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Production, Customer Service, and Leadership.
• Lead daily and weekly scheduling meetings and ensure adherence to plans.
• Identify capacity bottlenecks and resolve issues before delays occur.
• Investigate scheduling issues with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Design, develop, and maintain production dashboards and reports.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce lead times and inefficiencies.
• Coordinate schedules with other facilities and document processes.
