Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Production Planning professional to help coordinate daily and weekly schedules across CNC/machining, welding, and assembly. You will work closely with engineering and operations to balance capacity, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery for a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment.

This on-site Seattle role emphasizes hands-on planning with ERP/MES systems, Excel, and collaboration with Customer Success and shop-floor teams to improve scheduling accuracy

Qualifications

• 1‑2 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing coordination, scheduling, operations support, or a related manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience or equivalent technical training.
• Exposure to shop-floor manufacturing operations and production workflows.
• Experience supporting or maintaining production schedules.
• Familiarity with ERP, MES, or other production planning systems.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules across multiple processes.
• Capacity Planning & Production Support: Monitor capacity, forecast workloads, and balance schedules with delivery commitments.
• Reporting & Data Management: Track progress and generate reports to support decisions.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Align production priorities with customer commitments with engineers and operations.
