Galen College of Nursing in the United States is seeking a Simulation Technician to support and enhance simulation experiences for all learners in collaboration with program faculty to ensure quality and alignment with CSLOs.

You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV and simulators, maintain equipment documentation, and assist learners in using instructional media within a safe, clinical learning environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum technical diploma or associate degree from an accredited institution.
• Affinity for a technical role (IT, A/V, electronics/Computer building).
• Basic understanding of human anatomy/physiology or willingness to enroll in course after hire.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrate working knowledge of a range of common audio-visual and IT hardware and software.
• Provide general technical support and troubleshooting for the audio-visual and IT system.
• Set up, operate, and store audiovisual and IT equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and effective operation of the audio-visual system and simulation equipment.
• Set up, operate, store, maintain, update, and repair simulators, task trainers and other simulation equipment.
• Provide general support and troubleshooting for simulation equipment.
• Support Simulation Center users in the use of instructional media and equipment.
• Contribute to and maintain simulation equipment documentation.
