Job summary

Galen College of Nursing seeks a Simulation Technician to support and enhance nursing simulation experiences across programs. You will work with program faculty to ensure quality, continuity, and achievement of course student learning outcomes.

Responsibilities include setting up and troubleshooting AV/IT systems, maintaining simulators, and supporting learners and staff. The role requires technical aptitude, attention to detail, and effective communication within a collaborative learning

Qualifications

• Academic or technical credential required: technical diploma or associate degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and store audiovisual and simulation equipment.
• Provide general technical support and troubleshooting for AV and IT systems.
• Prepare the simulation environment to reflect the clinical setting and model physiologic responses.
• Maintain, update, and repair simulators and other equipment.
• Support users in using instructional media and equipment.
