Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead Solutions Design Engineer to grow our Supply Chain Solutions and Dedicated Transportation offerings.

You will design and validate logistics solutions, quantify financial value for customers, and lead pursuit teams from start to finish. Role requires deep understanding of customer business needs, feasibility of designs, and ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering is required.
• Six years or more in transportation and warehousing industries are required.
• Strong Excel/Office skills, data analysis and presentation abilities.
• Experience with design, modeling and optimization of logistics networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead design across multiple disciplines to deliver value-focused solutions.
• Develop and present compelling proposals that influence customer decisions.
• Coordinate with bid teams, Pricing, and Operations during startup transitions.
• Mentor SD Engineers and support execution of design processes for networks.
