Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Lead Solutions Design Engineer to develop, design, and win new business by creating feasible, value-driven logistics solutions.

You will lead cross-functional pursuit teams, shape wins plans, and ensure designs align with Ryder's capabilities throughout startup transitions. Responsibilities include modeling, data validation, and presenting compelling proposals to customers, with emphasis on analytics, communication, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering.
• Six (6) years or more in the Transportation industry.
• Six (6) years or more in the Warehousing and/or Manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Review RFP documents, clarify gaps and shape initial solution design hypotheses.
• Validate data, cleanse, profile and define scenarios to model.
• Develop cost and pricing models with IT and other functions.
• Lead consulting projects involving understanding customers' pain-points and presenting solutions.
• Support bid submission and transition design to Operations and SCE CI resources.
