Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Lead Solutions Design Engineer to grow our Supply Chain Solutions and Dedicated Transportation offerings. You will design and propose feasible solutions, align designs with customer needs, and support bid opportunities from start to finish.

You will mentor a small SD engineering team, utilize advanced analytics, and ensure designs align with Ryder's capabilities, contributing to startup success after award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering.
• Six years or more in the Transportation industry.
• Six years or more in the Warehousing and/or Manufacturing industry.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Review RFP documents and clarify gaps to shape solution design.
• Develop cost, pricing models and business case assumptions.
• Coordinate with pricing and other teams to support bid submissions.
• Lead design processes for transportation and warehouse networks.
• Present designs and value propositions to customers and internal stakeholders.
