Job summary

General Motors is seeking an experienced SiL SIE (Software-in-the-Loop Simulation Integration Engineer) to advance virtual engineering for engine, hybrid, electrification and body electronics projects. You will lead cross-functional co-simulation integration and collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure timely, high-quality simulations.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Software, CS or Aerospace Engineering required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in SiL/virtual engineering or embedded systems.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink in plant model integration for Co-Simulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of full-vehicle cross-functional co-simulation packages.
• Collaborate with PE, VMEC, EPSI and calibration teams to deliver simulations on time.
• Develop, parameterize, and test virtual controller models across HWIO/RTOS I/O.
• Design and execute automated test suites for simulation validation.
• Support adoption of next-gen simulation tools and processes.
