Job summary

General Motors is seeking an Application Engineer to create virtual in-the-loop environments for development, verification, and validation of embedded controllers and calibrations across hybrid, electrification, engine, and transmission systems.

You will work with V-ECUs and model integration, develop software components, and maintain model libraries and data connectivity to co-simulation platforms. Hybrid schedule applies with in-office and remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Automotive Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Software or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience as an Application Engineer or related occupation.
• Experience with SiL co-simulations and virtual ECU models.

Responsibilities

• Create virtual in-the-loop environments for development, verification and validation of embedded controllers and calibrations.
• Work with V-ECUs for engine, propulsion and transmission controller modules in system-level models.
• Develop, maintain, and test virtual controller components and data connectivity between co-simulation platform and tools.
