Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to join our team onsite in RTP, NC. You will develop and optimize high-speed interconnect solutions for AI infrastructure, data centers, and networking equipment, collaborating across engineering and customer teams.

The role requires 5+ years in signal integrity with hands-on test experience and proficiency in SI tools and PCB design. This position offers comprehensive benefits and a dynamic work environment in a cutting-edge field.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
5+ years of experience in signal integrity or related fields.
Hands-on use of test equipment such as VNAs, TDRs, and pattern generators.
Experience with simulation/analysis tools like HFSS, CST, ADS, HSPICE, MATLAB is a plus.
Strong understanding of PCB design and high-speed transmission principles.

Responsibilities

Support development and deployment of high-speed interconnect solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
Perform signal integrity modeling, simulation, validation, and troubleshooting for connector and cable systems.
Develop testing methodologies and verification processes for new products and manufacturing support.
Design and evaluate PCBs and test fixtures for electrical characterization and validation.
Collaborate with customers, sales, and engineering to solve high-speed transmission challenges.
