Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a Signal Integrity Engineer for a fully remote, permanent role to advance high-speed interconnect solutions in data infrastructure and AI hardware. You will perform electrical analysis, validation testing, and simulations for products used in HPC, AI, networking, and communications environments.

Responsibilities include SI simulations, validation plan development, and building/test setups to verify electrical characteristics and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience supporting high-speed digital systems, signal integrity analysis, or related electrical engineering disciplines.
• Experience operating electrical test and measurement equipment such as vector network analyzers (VNAs), time-domain reflectometers (TDRs), pattern generators, and similar instruments.

Responsibilities

• Execute signal integrity simulations and electrical evaluations to optimize the performance of high-speed interconnect products.
• Develop and implement validation plans to support product releases, design enhancements, and customer-driven requirements.
• Create and utilize custom test boards, fixtures, and measurement setups to verify electrical characteristics and reliability.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to investigate technical challenges and deliver effective solutions.
• Analyze laboratory data and measurement results to support product improvements and maintain high standards of testing accuracy.
