Piper Companies is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer for a fully remote permanent position, delivering high-speed interconnect solutions across AI, networking, and data center contexts.

The role involves electrical analysis, validation testing, and simulations to optimize performance, with a focus on high-speed digital systems and EMI/EMC considerations in modern infrastructure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in high-speed digital systems or related fields.
• Experience with VNAs, TDRs, pattern generators, and similar equipment.
• Proficiency with HFSS, CST, ADS, HSPICE, MATLAB, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of transmission lines, EM fundamentals, and measurement techniques.
• Experience with interconnect technologies and PCB development is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Execute signal integrity simulations and electrical evaluations to optimize performance.
• Develop and implement validation plans for product releases and design enhancements.
• Create test boards, fixtures, and measurement setups to verify electrical characteristics and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Analyze lab data and measurement results to support product improvements and ensure testing accuracy.
