Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to join our team onsite in Harrisburg, PA. The role focuses on developing, testing, and optimizing high-speed interconnect solutions for AI infrastructure, data centers, and networking equipment.

You will collaborate with engineering and customers from concept through production, using VNAs, TDRs, and design tools to ensure robust signal integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's or PhD preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in signal integrity or high-speed digital systems.
• Experience with VNAs, TDRs, pattern generators, and error detection tools.
• Proficiency with HFSS, CST, ADS, HSPICE, MATLAB.
• Strong PCB design and time-domain/frequency-domain characterization knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of high-speed interconnect and connectivity solutions through the product lifecycle.
• Perform signal integrity modeling, simulation, validation, and troubleshooting for advanced connector and cable systems.
• Develop testing methodologies and verification processes for new product introductions and manufacturing support.
• Design and evaluate printed circuit boards and test fixtures for electrical characterization and validation.
• Partner with customers, sales teams, and internal engineering groups to solve high-speed transmission challenges.
