Job summary

UChicago Medicine is seeking a Mammography Technologist I in the Radiology – Breast Imaging department. You will produce breast radiographs under a Radiologist, educate patients, and ensure regulatory compliance in a 100% onsite role based in the greater Chicagoland area.

The position requires strong communication, accuracy, and initiative, with opportunities to assist in interventional procedures and participate in quality assurance programs. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program certification.
• ARRT certification and Mammography credential.
• IEMA license required; 3+ years radiography experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce breast radiographs under Radiologist direction.
• Educate patients and collect data while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Assist physician in breast interventional procedures.
• Review images for quality and proper identification; input data into PACS/RIS.
• Adhere to HIPAA and infection control regulations; train new staff.
