Job summary

UChicago Medicine is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Radiology Department. This 100% onsite role serves inpatients and outpatients across CHHD sites in Harvey, Calumet City, Flossmoor and Tinley Park.

You will perform imaging procedures, ensure orders are completed, maintain safety and quality standards, and support accreditation activities. Eligible for a $10,000 sign‑on bonus with comprehensive benefits. Join a world-class academic health system dedicated to compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Maintains certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Retains an active Radiography accreditation with the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety.
• Registry eligible applicants must provide proof of application for temporary license (IEMA).
• Must successfully complete and maintain CPR

Responsibilities

• Ensures that each patient order is completed as ordered.
• Maintains attendance and tardiness according to hospital standards
• Demonstrates a positive, supportive attitude to physicians, patients, families and other personnel consistently, and in emergency and non-emergency situations
• Ensures comfort and safety of patients within the department at all times
• Maintains courteous and pleasant attitude
• Maintains daily quality control on instrumentation per department protocol.
• Maintain all records and documentation as required by personnel for DNV Inspections.
