Job summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking interpreters to provide Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign interpreting services. Both full-time and part-time positions are available in the US and Canada, with in-center locations like St. Augustine, FL.

Candidates should interpret between ASL and spoken English and meet licensure requirements. We value flexibility, ongoing education, and opportunities for certifications and licensure reimbursement based on hours worked.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and related interpreting skills.
• Ability to pass required skills assessment.
• High school diploma or GED (associate/bachelor preferred).
• Interpreter certification as required by local regulations.
• Minimum 3 years interpreting experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Interpret between ASL and spoken English.
• Comply with licensure and certification requirements.
• Adhere to Sorenson standards, FCC regulations, RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Maintain attendance policy and flexible schedule.
