Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc. seeks a full-time Sign Language interpreter to provide high quality video relay, video remote, and on-site interpreting across customer locations. Must be fluent in ASL and spoken English, with accurate interpreting and strong knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package; 36 hours per week guaranteed and additional shifts based on demand. 18+ years old and able to travel as required.

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Ability to interpret professionally and accurately.
• Understanding of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting.
• Support and model the company's mission and values.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
• Demonstrate punctuality and preparedness for shifts.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies.
• Travel as needed and operate video-based technology.
