Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc. is seeking a part-time interpreter to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpreting via video relay, video remote interpreting, and on-site at client locations as needed.

You will support accessibility services and ensure accurate communication for customers while upholding NAD-RID standards. Join a flexible team with a 24-hour-per-week schedule, participate in ongoing training, and travel to sites as required, while delivering exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English.
• Able to provide accurate interpretation.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• 3–5 years interpreting experience preferred.
• State licensure or credentials if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
