Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc. is seeking a full-time Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality video relay interpreting, via video, over the call center, and on-site at various locations as needed.

Fluency in ASL and spoken English is required, along with knowledge of the NAD-RID code of conduct and excellent interpreting skills. The role includes normal travel to client sites, a comprehensive benefits package, and a focus on professional development.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Accurate interpretation and knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Able to travel to client sites as needed.
• 3–5 years interpreting experience preferred.
• State licensure or credentials if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for customers.
• Support and model company mission and values; deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and accurate record-keeping.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies; adapt to new technologies.
