Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc is seeking a full-time Sign Language Interpreter to deliver high-quality interpreting services via video, in a call center, and on-site at customer locations as needed. Candidates must be fluent in American Sign Language and English and adhere to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

The role requires the ability to travel to sites as needed, with a focus on accuracy and professional interaction with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English are required.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience preferred but not required.
• Pass the company’s interpreting skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide video relay service, video remote interpreting, and onsite interpreting.
• Maintain professional conduct and customer service standards.
• Adhere to policies and FCC regulations and adapt to new technologies.
• Travel to customer locations as needed with valid driver’s license.
