Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc. seeks an American Sign Language interpreter to provide high quality interpreting via video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site at customer locations as needed.

The role requires fluent ASL and spoken English, accurate interpreting, and knowledge of the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct. This part-time position offers a benefits package including medical, telehealth, dental, life insurance, disability, 401(k) with company match, EAP, and flexible

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Accurate interpreting skills.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Thorough knowledge of and adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years of experience in interpreting (preferred).
• State licensure or state-required credentials as applicable.
• You must be 18 years or older to apply.

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
