Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc. is seeking a professional Sign Language interpreter to provide high quality interpretation via video relay, video remote interpreting, and onsite services at customer locations as needed.

You will work under the Communication Center Manager, must be fluent in ASL and spoken English, and adhere to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct. The role includes a 40 hour New Hire Training and ongoing professional development, with comprehensive benefits for full-time

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Accurate interpreting skills and thorough knowledge of and adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and onsite interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company's mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude with customers and colleagues.
• Exhibit professional behavior at all times including punctuality and preparedness for shifts, respectful and collaborative interaction with colleagues and supervisors, and timely and accurate record keeping.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined by the company and FCC regulations.
