Job summary

Z/P Better Together, LLC is seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter to provide high-quality video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for customers. The role requires fluent ASL and English, strong interpreting skills, and strict adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

You will work under the supervision of the Communication Center Manager, with a minimum 36 hours per week and a required 40-hour New Hire Training.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required
• Strong interpreting skills with accuracy and cultural awareness
• Adequate knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
• Three to five years of interpreting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting
• Support the mission and values of the company
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and punctuality
• Maintain accurate records and comply with FCC regulations
• Adapt quickly to changing technologies and shifting assignments
• Travel to client locations as needed
