Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc. is seeking a full-time Sign Language Interpreter to deliver high-quality interpreting via video, in a call center, and onsite at client locations.

The role requires fluent American Sign Language and spoken English, with strong interpreting skills and knowledge of the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct. Candidates should be able to travel to various sites as needed and commit to a 36-hour minimum work week, with benefits and career development opportunities provided

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English
• Adhere to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
• 3–5 years interpreting experience (preferred)
• State licensure or state-required credentials (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and onsite interpreting for consumers
• Support and model the company mission and values
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies
• Travel to on-site locations as required
