Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc is seeking a full-time Sign Language Interpreter to deliver high-quality interpretation via video, call center, and on-site locations as needed. You must be fluent in American Sign Language and English, with strong interpreting skills and adherence to NAD-RID codes of professional conduct.

Providers should be able to work 36 hours per week, enjoy flexible scheduling options, and participate in comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluent American Sign Language and spoken English required.
• Ability to interpret accurately in varied settings.
• Familiarity with NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Knowledge of Deaf culture and community norms.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality video relay, video remote interpreting, and onsite interpreting for clients.
• Support and model the company mission and values.
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and respect.
• Maintain punctuality, preparedness, and accurate record keeping.
