Purple Communications, Inc. is seeking a full-time Sign Language Interpreter to provide high quality interpreting via video and on-site at various locations. The interpreter must be fluent in American Sign Language and spoken English, with strong interpretation skills and adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Training and scheduling flexibility are included. The role requires 36 hours per week with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Accurate interpretation skills with strong knowledge of NAD-RID Code.
• Experience in interpreting preferred (3–5 years).
• Must be 18 years or older and able to travel if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide video relay service, video remote interpreting, and onsite interpreting for consumers.
• Deliver high quality professional interpreting per the CODP.
• Maintain professional attitude and excellent customer service.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies.
• Commit to scheduled shifts and complete required training.
