Job summary

ZP Connect is seeking interpreters to provide high-quality ASL-English interpretation via video, in a call center and on-site at client locations. Fluency in ASL and spoken English, plus a thorough understanding of Deaf culture, are essential for delivering accurate interpretation and excellent customer service.

Position requires 12 hours weekly on average with shift adaptability, training completion, and compliance with NAD-RID Code and FCC regulations.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Able to provide accurate interpretation.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct adherence.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience (preferred).
• As applicable, state licensure or state credentials.
• You must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality video relay, video remote, and on-site interpreting.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service with professionalism.
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts; accurate record keeping.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and FCC regulations.
