AWP Safety, Inc is hiring a Material Installer to transport, prepare, and install signage and related materials at customer sites in the Charlotte area. The role requires precise sign installation, safety compliance, and coordination with project management teams.

The position emphasizes outdoor field work, lifting up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed. Comprehensive training and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Two-year degree in industrial-related field is a plus but not required.
• Ability to connect with field-level customers.
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
• Adherence to safe workplace practices.
• Knowledge of various types of signs and installation methods.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Typical workweek 40+ hours.
• Fieldwork outdoors in varied weather.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure signs meet client specifications for spelling, font, size, and medium.
• Load and transport signs, tools, and materials to location safely.
• Install all signs to MUTCD code.
• Prepare the site for installation by removing old signage and preparing surfaces.
• Ensure proper measurement, placement, connection, and installation.
• Mount and install signs following safety protocols.
• Clear debris and materials after installation.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to material as needed.
• Operate and maintain tools in safety-conscious manner.
• Maintain daily communication with Project Management Team and directors.
• Complete required paperwork including logs, vehicle inspections, timecards daily.
• Obtain and maintain all required licenses as set forth by the company.
