Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is seeking a Sign Installer/Material Installer to transport, prepare, and install signage per project specs and MUTCD codes. The role is field-based, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and collaboration with project teams.

Responsibilities include site preparation, loading equipment, and maintaining documentation. Expect 40+ hour weeks, occasional evenings/weekends, and a strong safety focus. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required; 2-year industrial degree is a plus.
• Good communication skills; able to work evenings/weekends; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Ensure signs meet client specifications for spelling, font, size and medium.
• Load and transport signs, tools, and materials to site safely.
• Install signs according to MUTCD code and project specs.
• Prepare site by removing old signage and securing connections.
• Ensure accurate placement, connection, and installation of materials.
• Operate and maintain tools per safety protocols.
• Document work with completion photos and proper paperwork.
