Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc is seeking a Field Material Installer in Asheville, NC to transport and install signage per MUTCD codes. You will verify material specifications, prepare sites, and manage installations with strict safety standards.

The role is heavily field-based, often outdoors, with 40+ hour weeks and possible evenings/weekends. The company offers training, advancement opportunities, and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant industrial degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication; able to connect with field customers.
• Knowledge of installation methods and safety practices; able to use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure signs meet client specifications for spelling, font, size, and medium.
• Load and transport signs, tools, and materials to worksites safely.
• Install signs in accordance with MUTCD code and safety protocols.
• Prepare sites, remove old signage, and secure electrical connections as needed.
• Measure, place, and connect materials; complete required logs and reports.
• Maintain clear communications with project management and supervisors.
