Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, seeks a Shuttle Operations Associate near West Lafayette, IN. You will schedule vehicles, coordinate drivers, and assist customers with a focus on on‑time performance and professional appearance.

The role requires a high school degree or equivalent, prior shuttle/dispatch experience, a valid driver’s license, and clear English communication. Shift availability including weekends may be required; uniform and safety rules apply.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree or equivalent.
• Experience/Knowledge: Prior knowledge or experience with shuttle or other dispatched transportation operations, scheduling, employee management preferred.
• Availability to Work: Special shift requirements may vary; availability for 2nd/3rd shift and weekends may be required.
• License Requirement: Valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.
• Language Skills: Read, write, speak and communicate in English.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add/subtract; understand Hours of Service regulations.
• Appearance: Maintain neat, clean appearance in uniform.
• Physical Demands: Sit/stand; use phone/radio.

Responsibilities

• Schedule vehicles and drivers for fixed route service; cover open shifts on short notice when necessary.
• Operate with basic office equipment and Microsoft Word/Excel as needed.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Assist customers and employees; direct to Facility Manager if needed.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations to Facility Manager.
• Support monthly driver meetings and training; know service area streets and landmarks.
• Assist Facility Managers with other duties as needed.
