Job summary

SP+ in Houston is seeking a Dispatcher for Shuttle Operations to schedule vehicles and drivers for fixed routes, manage shifts, and ensure on-time performance.

You will use Microsoft Word and Excel, coordinate with facilities, and assist customers and employees while maintaining safety and a neat uniform appearance. Availability for 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends may be required. This role sits within SP+'s large mobility network.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree or equivalent.
• Experience/Knowledge: Prior knowledge or experience with shuttle or other dispatched transportation operations, scheduling, employee management preferred.
• Availability to Work: Special shift requirements; may require 2nd/3rd shift and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Schedule vehicles and drivers for fixed route service; cover open shifts on short notice when necessary.
• Operate with basic office equipment; use Word and Excel.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Assist customers and employees; direct them to the Facility Manager when needed.
• Report accidents or safety concerns to the Facility Manager.
• Lead monthly driver meetings and training; know service area streets and landmarks.
• Assist Facility Managers with other duties as needed.
